Refund Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Supportify facilitates voluntary payments from supporters to creators. The money you send goes to the creator, so refunds are the creator’s decision.

1. General Policy

Payments made through Supportify are voluntary. Refunds are at the creator’s discretion: when you ask for one, the creator you supported decides, because the money came out of their account.

2. When Supportify Steps In

Supportify may refund a payment itself, without the creator’s approval, in a few cases:

  • You were charged twice for the same thing
  • The payment was not yours
  • The law requires it

Supportify also reviews any request the creator has not answered within 7 days, and any request the creator declined that you believe falls into one of the cases above.

3. How to Request a Refund

Use the form below with the email you paid with and the payment ID from your receipt. Tell us why, and anything the creator should know. You can also write to support@supportifyapp.com.

We email the creator, and we email you their answer. If they have not answered within 7 days, Supportify can also review the request. A request nobody has answered after 30 days is closed, and you can write to support to pick it back up.

4. Processing Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • It goes back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days
  • It comes out of the creator's balance; Stripe's processing fee on the original payment is not returned to the creator
  • It covers that one payment only. It does not stop monthly support, which you can stop any time from your donor dashboard

5. Creator Responsibility

Creators are responsible for fulfilling any expectations associated with support (if applicable). Supportify does not guarantee outcomes or services from creators.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

Users are encouraged to contact Supportify before initiating a chargeback.

Excessive chargebacks may result in account restrictions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as needed. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance.
